Nuclear Medicine Science
The college awards the student a Bachelor of Honors degree after completing 8 semesters (4 years).
It is a science that allows graduates to use safe radioactive materials and sensitive cameras to image the functions of vital organs. Using advanced equipment such as a scintigraphy camera (for imaging bones and detecting tumor spread), a SPECT device (for assessing blood flow to the heart muscle), and a PET/CT device (for accurately determining the activity of cancerous tumors), this helps doctors visualize organ function and diagnose diseases in their very early stages, whether it is abnormal thyroid activity, micrometastasis, or heart failure.
