As part of ongoing field monitoring of National Ribat University’s institutions and colleges—and to assess the progress of academic and training operations—His Excellency Lieutenant General (Police/Legal) Professor Al-Adil Agib Yaqoub, President of National Ribat University, inspected the Higher Police Academy. The official visit aimed to review workflow, evaluate the academic and training environment, and monitor development efforts within the Academy.
His Excellency was accompanied by Professor Musab Omar Al-Hassan, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies; Mr. Amir Khidr, representing the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs; and Mr. Adel Sabri, representing the Executive Office.
The delegation was received by Major General Dr. Al-Fadil Hisbun, Dean of the Higher Police Academy; Major General (Police) Dr. Ismail Mohammed, Dean of the College of Police Sciences and Law; and a number of senior Academy officials. The Dean welcomed the University President and the accompanying delegation, providing a briefing on the Academy, its academic and training trajectory, and the ongoing efforts to develop, modernize, and enhance its educational and training environment. He also outlined various programs and activities undertaken by the Academy regarding personnel qualification and professional development. Following the reception, the visit included an inspection tour of several academy facilities—such as the library and the medical unit—during which the University President reviewed operational workflows and the quality of services and programs provided. He was briefed on the academy’s needs and development efforts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining an integrated academic and training environment that meets the requirements for professional qualification and excellence.
He also met with officers from the 19th Fellowship Course, delivering a lecture that addressed various topics related to academic and professional development. He highlighted the importance of knowledge and continuous training in enhancing capabilities and professional competence, as well as the necessity of linking knowledge with practical experience. The lecture drew significant engagement from the participants, reflecting their keen interest in the subject matter and their eagerness to benefit from academic and professional insights.
At the conclusion of the visit, the University President was seen off by Police Lieutenant General Nasr al-Din Saleh Abdul Rahman, Head of the Training Authority, alongside leadership from the academy and the College of Police Sciences and Law—a gesture reflecting the spirit of communication and integration among the university’s institutions and its academic and training bodies.
