About the College

About the Faculty of Media: The Faculty of Media at the National University of Rabat was established in 2010 as an authentic academic arm of the Rabat Center for Conferences and Media Training, which was established by a decision of the University Council on January 17, 2001, to focus on media and security media training for those working in security and media agencies, and to develop scientific and practical efforts in the field of security media, as it is a new and rare specialization. The center has been organizing many training courses, seminars, workshops, and seminars for those interested and affiliated in the field of media and security work in the country. The center was upgraded to the Institute of Media Studies in 2005, expanding its postgraduate program (Higher Diploma, Master's, and Doctorate) in Security Media, authorized by the Ministry of Higher Education's letter No. (W.T.A.B./4/A.T./H./5/3) dated January 9, 2005. This specialization, unique to Al-Ribat National University, presents a model for media work in general, and security media as a new specialization, through diverse curricula and courses carefully and meticulously developed by a distinguished scientific committee comprised of media and research experts from Sudanese universities. Location of the Faculty of Media: The Faculty is located in the University Campus of Al-Ribat National University, Khartoum, Sudan, Burri, Nile Street. It emphasizes instilling core media values in students and trainees from the moment they enroll in training programs. The department aims to produce prominent media professionals with the knowledge, experience, and ability to quickly and effectively investigate, report on, and translate news, events, and stories. Furthermore, it equips them with proficiency in all forms and formats of modern radio production across all topics related to humanitarian issues.
