About the College
The Faculty of Dentistry & Dental Technology at National Ribat University is one of the leading medical faculties in Sudan. It was established in 2000 in Khartoum as part of the foundation of the university. The faculty aims to prepare highly qualified dental professionals and dental technologists capable of delivering high-quality oral healthcare services and contributing to the advancement of oral health in Sudan.
The faculty offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program with a five-year curriculum. In addition, it provides Diploma programs in Dental Assistance and Dental Technology, each with a duration of three years.
The faculty provides a comprehensive learning environment that includes an on-campus dental clinics complex where students receive their clinical training. Students also undergo clinical training at the University Police Dental Hospital. The faculty further supports practical education through a Clinical Skills Laboratory and a Prosthodontic Laboratory.
The faculty maintains academic and training partnerships with the Federal Ministry of Health for internship training and with the Sudanese Medical Specialization Board for the training of specialty registrars, reinforcing its commitment to professional development and community service.
