The college aims to meet the actual needs of Sudanese society in areas related to its specializations. In addition to bachelor's degree programs, it offers postgraduate studies at the doctoral and master's levels, as well as higher diplomas and short courses in the following fields:

Admission Requirements for Bachelor's Degree:
• The college accepts students holding the Sudanese Certificate from either the scientific or literary tracks, or an equivalent qualification. Admission for literary-track students is limited to the Organizational Management department.
• Students must pass medical examinations, interviews, and any additional requirements set by Al-Ribat National University.

Study System at the College:
1. The College of Environmental Sciences and Disaster Risk Management is an academic institution that adopts both theoretical and practical field approaches in its studies and aims to promote and develop the concepts of environmental studies, disaster management, and civil protection through various means.
2. The college uses both Arabic and English as languages of instruction.
3. It collaborates with foreign experts and visiting professors to strengthen ties with their affiliated institutions and organizations by exchanging knowledge and experiences, especially in disaster mitigation and response.
4. The college provides specialized laboratories and research facilities for experiments and applied research.
5. Teaching methods include seminars and research halls under the supervision of faculty members.
6. Students complete four general and joint semesters before specialization, followed by four semesters in their specialization. They are awarded an Honours Bachelor's degree after completing eight semesters.
