Faculty of Languages and Translation
Ribat University established in 2003, the Faculty of Languages and Translation is one of the humanitarian faculties that adopts the theoretical specialization system. Admission is open to Sudanese and Arab certificate holders with a minimum of 60%. The faculty teaches Arabic, English, French, and Translation, and we aspire to expand our offerings to include other languages such as Chinese and German.
The undergraduate program is four years, with the first two years covering the four subjects, and specialization in two languages and translation in the third and fourth years, based on academic performance.
Graduates receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Translation in two languages.
Graduates of the Faculty of Languages and Translation have numerous job opportunities in both the private and public sectors, including companies, diplomatic missions, media, publishing houses, and printing presses.
The faculty offers an English language course for beginners and a postgraduate diploma in English, which is a one-year program. We also offer a master's degree in Arabic language and a Ph.D. by research in all our specializations.

To achieve academic leadership and excellence in the field of languages and translation, locally, regionally, and globally, by graduating competent specialists who are able to compete and fullfil the requirements of the job market internally and externally, with a focus on expanding and adding other languages in the future.
